There are few, if any, attractive radiators. Even though they are necessary in certain parts of the world, most are also an eyesore and usually difficult or expensive to hide. While my craftsmanship could certainly be better, I'm learning every time I make a new one and they make any room look so much better.
I am so happy with these that I am making one for every single radiator in the house.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED

1 X 6 wood ( I used pine)

Rattan
-
Wood trim (I used pine, 3" wide)

Wood screws
-
Wood glue
-
Staple gun + staples

Paint (optional)

Bungee cord
BUILD THE OUTER FRAME
Measure the radiator and add at least 1", 2.5 cm, to length, height, and width for fire safety.
Cut (or buy pre-cut) and paint wood. You can also leave the wood untreated.
Assemble the outer frame using wood glue and screws
Allow glue to dry
BUILD THE INNER FRAME
Measure the inside of the frame and cut the trim to fit.
Assemble using wood glue and staples.
Attach the rattan to the inner frame using staples
Cut excess rattan.
