We livened up the face of this house with a small entrance porch and power-washed the siding. We added shutters to the front windows and painted the door to match.

We replaced the carpeting and linoleum throughout the house with vinyl flooring. In the living room, we added a window and beadboard on the walls. We took down the wall in the stairwell to the second floor, adding vertical slats that give the house a more open feel, connecting the living and dining rooms.
